Who is Timothy McIntosh?

Timothy holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological-Chemical Engineering from MIT, a Masters in Education from Harvard University and over 20 years of experience in STEAM curriculum design.

He began this work as an undergraduate, due to his extensive involvement in developing and delivering STEAM opportunities for underserved communities through MIT's heralded Office of Engineering Outreach Programs. This sparked what has become a life-long passion for engaging kids, particularly at-risk youth, through innovative STEAM programming.

Upon completion of his Masters in Education, Timothy joined Google's Kids & Families Department  as a User Experience Researcher, where he developed a keen sense of the intrinsic needs of kids and their parents when choosing quality educational products.

Along the way, Timothy somehow found the time to co-found a gourmet bakery on Capitol Hill, Washington DC with his sister and win Food Network's Cupcakes Wars.

These days, Timothy lives in Spain and is a Math teacher and STEAM workshop coordinator at Barcelona High School. He also sits on the Board of Directors of The Dominguez Dream, a California based non-profit that specializes in providing enriching STEAM education opportunities for communities in need.
